Vietnam should expect extreme flooding this year
The number of storms affecting Vietnam will drop against last year but it is likely that heavy rains will result in extreme flooding. According to the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration (VMHA), 10-12 storms could form in Vietnam’s East Sea this year, with around half expected to hit mainland Vietnam.
